As usual with Amazon, delivered very promptly with no hassle!!
Had the Febreeze on standby, as I was expecting an awful smell…opened the box…..no smell. Thought maybe it had to be unwrapped to experience the smell….unwrapped it…no smell.
Expected it to be a wadded up mess….it wasn’t. It was neatly rolled and it just as neatly unrolled….fit my king size bed perfectly.
Of course I read the measurements beforehand, then measured my own bed, and was satisfied that it would be a perfect fit if their measurements were true. They were.
I opened it immediately to get it on the bed ASAP when I got home from work, so it would have plenty of time to do whatever it needed to do so I could sleep on it tonight….heck I could sleep on it 5 minutes after putting it on the bed, only because it takes that long to get the sheets and everything on it.
Wanted to write this part of it while it was all still fresh in my mind, and will update with a comfort review later.
But so far, so good!!

I bought this for my daughter to use at college. Got her a fiberbed mattress cover last year which she was very disappointed with. We moved her in this year, put the memory foam mattress on and when she laid down, her face lit up and said it all. We’ll still have to see how it holds up over time but the initial look on my daughters face was priceless!
The foam is a little thinner than our last one (which lasted about 6 years before breaking down). We aired it in the garage for several days and there were no fumes by the time we put it on the bed. It fits nicely – better than our old one, so extends nearly to the headboard this time. We hope to get at least another 6 years from this one – if you have a problem with pressure points on your mattress I would recommend it. My only comment might be that it does make for a warmer night’s sleep, as did the previous pad – but we’re in the summer heat right now, so maybe it will feel better when things cool.
This is my second memory foam mattress topper. I was pleasantly surprised how much better this memory foam is compared to the first one that I bought on eBay. When it arrived I expected it to be intensely toxic-smelling like my first memory foam, but this one actually resembles bedding when unrolled! Wow! This memory foam pad feels thick, spongy and bouncy – as you would expect a spring-less mattress to be, and not like a layer of chemical squelch that one’s body sinks into. Which begs the quesion – What the heck did I buy the first time? So THIS is what memory foam is really like! And it doesn’t smell! Yay.
Although I still need to purchase a new bed, this has helped reduce the back pain I experience in the mornings. When I press down on it, the handprint does not stay as long as it would with a better quality enhancer. If you’re trying correct a bed that’s saggy, this won’t do it. But over all, it has helped and I’m pretty pleased with it. It will work until I have the money for a new bed, which will be all memory foam this time around. By the way, if you have neck pain – I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Isocool contour pillow. I’m going to review that next, it is absolutely wonderful!
I purchased this pad a little over a month ago. Our mattress is a little to soft for me and after reading reviews about this product, I decided to try it. I bought the king size pad for my queen size bed since people said that it’s cut smaller than it should be. I unrolled it, let it air out for an hour and put it on my bed, trimmed it and it was good to go. If you do order a larger size, do not stretch it out on the bed (lay it down gently) before you trim it or it will shrink up and end up being to small. It didn’t have a bad rubbery smell as some people mention in the reviews. I’ve had no more back pain, am really pleased with this and would definitely recommend it.
This mattress topper is fantastic. It fits the bed perfectly.
You will notice, it does make your mattress quite a bit higher than it was. I really noticed this, and so did my small dogs. Took them a little while to get used it.
I’m using this on a sleep number bed, and this is just the cherry on top.

This is a terrific buy and a great topper. It is the best I’ve seen (and used).
We have this on our queen bed, which mattress was good but now feels a bit too hard to our aging backs and has saggy spots. This foam topper fixes both issues, as is to be expected. The 3-inch is a good size and it’s a pleasure to sleep — or more appropriately “to sink” — in it every night. At 2.5 lb/cubic ft, the density is medium, which is good enough.
The foam arrived rolled in a big box. It was not as compressed as I thought — some reviews make you think it’s compressed in a dark hole and then will expand to fill your whole house… it’s not that dramatic!
However the smell of new foam toppers is a known issue — all foams I’ve seen do that anyway, it’s not just that one. The original smell is not only nauseating, it gives me immediate headaches. I can’t stress that enough: you must let the mattress air and expand in a *ventilated* non-living area for at least 2 or 3 days before using it. Don’t rush it — in case of doubt, let it air one more day rather than be deceived by the chemical smell, as it will be nauseating at first. Put it somewhere out of sight in a ventilated area, such as in the basement or the garage. If after 3 days you can stick your nose on it and not feel the urge to run away fast, then you can consider moving it in the bedroom.
After a month or so of use, there’s still a slight curious smell the first time I’d get in bed, but nothing dramatic. It’s such a pleasure to fall asleep and wake up on that thing, it’s totally worth it.
Great padding for hard mattress and good support but we had to change comforters because it increased the temperature significantly of our bed! No good for hot climates.
good price on a combo deal. mattress pads are great, pillows are below par for a final rating of good.
My wife was 5 months pregnant and starting to get a little uncomfortable while sleeping. A friend of mine bought one for his wife while she was pregnant and really made a difference for her (and him.) We got the pad and my wife immediately began to sleep better, and continued to do so for the rest of the pregnancy.
As good as it was to begin with, after my wife came home it was almost too good. Having little strength, it was a little too hard to push out of the foam and was also difficult to nurse, so since then the pad has been been in the basement, occassionally being thrown on the floor as an extra mattress when we have guests. If I had to make the purchase over again, I would go for the 2″ rather than the 3″, but I’m giving four stars because it did do the job for which it was purchased for.
I think we own the worst mattress ever produced but this makes it feel like a top of the line mattress! I definitely recommend it to everyone! The two contour pillows are very nice too! Now we can’t sleep without it on our bed! And my pregnant wife was having hip issues and couldn’t sleep without this thing. It was a life saver!
I have a very stiff mattress. This foam pad worked really well with my stiff mattress. The only problem I have with it is that the foam moves around and I need to realign it with my bed every other day and my bed sheets always end up wrapping itself around the pad itself.
I do recommend this pad to anyone looking for a pad to soften their mattress. It was money well spent
It has made my bed so comfortable that I can sleep more hours without waking up because of aches and pains.
I bought this to soften a bed given by my apartment complex. It is truly amazing! It’s very soft, I feel like I’m sleeping on air. The packaging was a little bit of a pain to open (they had vacuum wrapped it). But other than that I am extremely pleased! I do recommend laying it on the floor for at least a few hours to flatten out, if not over night. But I have no bumps or wrinkles on mine! I would totally buy again.
I have to admit, I was hesitant to purchase this. I’m a skeptic by nature, and could only find one review to go off of, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway. I have a great mattress which I purchased many years ago. Unfortunately, it’s very firm , which was my preference at the time, but now I find I need a softer bed. This topper is saving me from buying a brand new mattress. Definitely worth the money.
